Be careful what you wish for

You closed your eyes and prayed for them not to find you. How you got into this mess with a lot of males chasing after you was a little complicated but let's rewind a bit

It started off as a wish. A completely innocent wish but you didn't realise that it would lead to THIS!

You were sitting on the roof HQ after curfew completely unaware of anything and everything when you see a shooting star cross the night sky

Not many people cared about you- some did like the girls, particularly Sasha, you liked them but couldn't help but feel jealous of them
You weren't as strong like Mikasa or Ymir, or kind or pretty like Christa, or hilarious like Sasha or cool like Annie.

You were just you. Plain old you

Your mother had once told you about shooting stars and the power they held, they could do many great things like making people fall in love or tipping the odds into your favour but the legend also came with a warning

You ignored it and wished that EVERYONE would be interested in you

The star passed put off your vision and you let out a sigh before standing up and brushing yourself off

"Cadet" a sharp voice interrupted your thoughts and you looked ahead to see Corporal Levi standing a few feet away from you arms folded and an unimpressed scowl on his face

'Crap'

"Corporal" you managed, (E/c) orbs widening in shock

"Cadet. May I ask what you are doing out here after curfew?"

"Ummm" you wracked your brain for an excuse before coming up with an obvious one "I was just out here admiring the stars, Corporal"

He remained unimpressed "Is that so?"

You gulped before nodding

Levi didn't move for a moment, his eyes locked onto the shooting star you had wished upon and he remained silent

'Why wasn't he ordering you to do Laps right now? Or ordering you to clean the stables or the entire castle?' Why?'

"Sir?" you questioned softly and his dark eyes locked onto your wide ones in a psychologically challenging staredown

This was very odd indeed. You didn't know how to react!

"Sir?" your soft voice seemed to break him out of his reverie as his eyes sharpened and he focused on you

You with your gorgeous (h/c) (h/l) hair being softly blown out of your beautiful face by the soft wind as your eyes narrowed in concern for the short Corporal

"Go back to your room Cadet" He said after a while of staring at your eyes

"Sir?" you questioned softly making sure you had heard properly. He wasn't punishing you?

"Are you deaf Cadet? I said go back to your room and if I catch you breaking the rules again there will be hell to pay" He snapped going back to his usual grumpy self

"Yes sir! Sorry sir!" you apologised before dashing off but what you didn't realise that just as the Corporal breathed in deeply, your hair flew back by the wind and he accidentally took a heavy sniff of your sweet smelling hair but before he knew it, you were gone

The Corporal stayed in the same position for a little longer than a moment before straightening and allowing his lips to twist up into a feral smirk briefly before he went back to his stoic self

'Cadet _______. This is going to be interesting'
